  To Host Inaugural Wine Women and Shoes Event In Placer County

ROCKLIN –Slip on your stilettos and bring hope to a child with cancer.

Join the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce for an afternoon of wine tasting, culinary delicacies, exclusive shoes, and accessory shopping at Westfield Galleria at Roseville’s Center Court and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Keaton Raphael Memorial.

The festive event will take place at Westfield Galleria at Roseville on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. A fashion marketplace and sensational wines will help take away those daily cares and teach you about wine, as well as shoes!

“This inaugural event will bring stunning fashion and delicious delicacies straight to our neighborhood,” said Robin Trimble, CEO of the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce, “We can’t wait to bring women from Placer County together to enjoy this great event.”

“Shoe Guys,” carefully chosen men from Placer County, will present the season’s must-have shoes on silver platters, all while you nibble delicate bites, bid on one-of-a-kind auction items, and enjoy a fabulous fashion show.

The event benefits the Chamber and the Keaton Raphael Memorial, which was founded by Robyn Raphael after losing her 5-year-old son, Keaton Raphael, to cancer in 1998.

The organization helps to financially support children with cancer and their families, as well as increasing awareness and research funding for a cure. Keaton Raphael Memorial has raised nearly $5 million over the past 14 years to help fund research for centers such as the UC Davis Cancer Center and to support children and their families during their cancer treatment.
