Greg Janda endorsed by Rocklin Police Officers' Association

The Rocklin Police Officers’ Association has endorsed small business owner and community volunteer Greg Janda for Rocklin City Council.

“After careful consideration of your background, the RPOA welcomes the knowledge and experience you could bring to the Rocklin City Council,” the organization said in its endorsement. “We believe your community involvement combined with your business background, make you a unique candidate with a clear vision for the City of Rocklin.”

“I am honored to have the support of Rocklin law enforcement,” Greg said. “Rocklin is known as a safe city and we owe that to the hard work of law enforcement. As I have said throughout my campaign, public safety is a core responsibility of local government and one that I will work to properly fund as a Councilmember.”

Greg Janda is also supported by Placer County’s top prosecutor, District Attorney Scott Owens.

Janda, 50, has owned and operated a technology business for 15 years and holds a degree in business administration from San Jose State University.

In addition to graduating from the Leadership Rocklin program in 2005 and serving on its steering committee for the last seven years, Greg has volunteered at a number of civic organizations and events. He is active in his church in Rocklin and has volunteered on several trips to Tanzania building churches and housing. He and his wife, Kristin, have two daughters who attend Rocklin schools.
